How to get to Nantucket

The island of Nantucket is located 30 miles off the coast of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. It is primarily known as a summer community and is accessible year round by air or ferry.

By Air

There are several commercial airlines that have frequently scheduled flights to and from Nantucket. From July to Labor Day there is an Airport Shuttle every 20 minutes to downtown Nantucket. It runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

There are 2 passenger-only fast ferries that run year round to Nantucket. Automobiles are discouraged on Nantucket, however if you need to bring your auto, you must make a reservation in advance wih the Steamship Authority.
